Welcome to Magic Messenger. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. These terms apply to all users of the Magic Messenger app and website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Magic Messenger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Service Overview

Magic Messenger is a subscription-based, privacy-first messaging app offering:

End-to-end encrypted messaging
Anonymous user IDs (no phone number or email required)
Secret Notes
Screenshot blocking
TOR-based routing
Optional secure hardware and accessories via our online shop

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Magic Messenger. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account & Identity

Magic Messenger does not require users to create an account with personally identifiable information. Instead, users receive an automatically generated User ID. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials (such as your User ID backup or app password) secure.

5. Subscription & Payments

Magic Messenger operates on a paid subscription model:

€25 per month, with a free 1-month trial for new users
Subscriptions can be purchased through our website or in-app
We offer multiple license durations (1–12 months) with volume discounts

You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan. Subscriptions are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

6. Fair Use & Restrictions

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the app
Use the app to transmit illegal or harmful content
Interfere with the integrity or performance of our infrastructure
Use automated systems to access or scrape our services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

7. Content Ownership & Encryption

All content sent via Magic Messenger is encrypted client-side and only accessible to the sender and recipient. We do not have access to your messages, files, or notes. We do not store message content or metadata.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app may integrate or interact with external tools or systems, including app stores and payment gateways. We are not responsible for the terms or policies of those services.

9. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes, but reserve the right to do so without notice.

10. Termination

You may stop using Magic Messenger at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app or website at our discretion if these terms are violated.

11. Limitation of Liability

Magic Messenger is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Magic Messenger, its owners, developers, and affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by the user’s local jurisdiction.
